On September 28, 2022, Sunset Development announced the purchase of Chevron’s 92-acre, 1.3-million-square-foot “Chevron Park” campus in Bishop Ranch off Bollinger Canyon Road.
On December 6, 2022, as part of the regular Planning Commission Meeting, a Study Session was held to gather input on the former Chevron Park property (DMU South).
The project concept includes the following:
- 125,000 square feet of mixed-used retail and entertainment
- 1,250 apartments
- 1,000 homes and condominiums
- Central Park, pocket parks and open space
- Buffer to south of development
- Transit center
