Recreation swim starts at 7 p.m., so be sure to bring your pool floats and enjoy everything the pools have to offer. Once the sun goes down, settle into your deck chair, get cozy on your blanket or watch the movie from the pool. It’s sure to be a splashin’ good time!

Summer Concert: Mustache Harbor

Unclaimed Property

The City of San Ramon declares that monetary sums totaling $17,734.41 held by the City in the General Fund have remained unclaimed for a period over 3 years and will become the property of the City of San Ramon on August 23, 2025, a date not less than forty-five (45) days nor more than sixty (60) days after the first publication of this notice, in accordance with California Government Code Section 50050-50057.

Input Requested: San Ramon Trails Master Plan
Survey Open through July 15, 2025

The City of San Ramon has launched a planning process for its new Trails Master Plan and is seeking input from the San Ramon community!
A public survey on trail use, along with potential improvements, is open through July 15.
Feedback from the public will be used in developing recommendations later this summer.
The purpose of this Trails Master Plan is to identify and prioritize connections to enhance and complete the existing trail system, as well as explore opportunities as the needs of the community grow. This plan will help to guide San Ramon’s trail system with best management practices and a vision for the future.
Project goals include:
- Supporting family-friendly recreation opportunities
- Creating a long-term vision for San Ramon’s trail system
- Improving upon existing and future trail conditions
The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete, and will help shape the future of San Ramon's trails.

Official Opening: Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing at Bollinger Canyon Road
Saturday, July 19
9 a.m. - Remarks in City Hall Rotunda
10 a.m. - Ribbon Cutting at North Entrance of Bridge

The City of San Ramon, in partnership with Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA), Contra Costa County (CCC), and East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD), will host the official opening of the Iron Horse Trail Bicycle and Pedestrian Overcrossing at Bollinger Canyon Road on Saturday, July 19.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. in the City Hall rotunda (7000 Bollinger Canyon Road), with remarks from elected officials and partner agencies, followed by a ribbon cutting at the north entrance to the bridge at 10 a.m. Following the ribbon cutting, the bridge will officially open to the community.
All portions of the event are free, and the public is encouraged to attend. The event will include a group photo opportunity on the bridge, along with commemorative giveaways to celebrate the official opening.

Middle School Pool Party

Middle school students are invited to the Middle School Pool Party at the San Ramon Olympic Pool (9900 Broadmoor Drive, San Ramon CA 94583) on Wednesday, July 30 from 7 to 9 p.m.
It's one last dive to meet or hang out with their friends before school starts! Students will have access to the play structure, splash-and-dash, and diving boards. Attendees will also have the opportunity to play games to win prizes at the event. This event is for those entering 6th, 7th and 8th grade.

Apply Now: Planning Academy - Fall 2025

San Ramon's Community Development Department will hosting the 8th session of San Ramon's Community Planning Academy in the fall of 2025. The goal of the Academy is to educate and engage residents in the City’s planning process. The Academy will provide an overview of why cities plan, how planning shapes our community, and the land use planning process.
The classes are anticipated to be held on four consecutive Mondays beginning September 8. Each class begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m., and will be held at City Hall (7000 Bollinger Canyon Road, San Ramon CA 94583). Following completion of the course, there will be a formal recognition of class participants at a City Council meeting.
The class is free, but space is limited to 20 residents, over 18 years of age.

National Night Out: August 5, 2025
Request a Visit from PD or Fire Today!

On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, San Ramon neighborhoods are invited to join more than 17,000 communities across the U.S., Canada, and military bases worldwide for the 42nd Annual National Night Out, “America’s Night Out Against Crime.” This event is sponsored nationally by the National Association of Town Watch and locally by the San Ramon Police Department and Neighborhood Watch groups to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
From 5:30–9 p.m., residents are encouraged to lock their doors, turn on exterior lights, and gather outside with neighbors and local law enforcement. Many Neighborhood Watch groups will host events such as block parties, potlucks, and ice cream socials. Police and other City representatives will visit registered neighborhoods throughout the evening to support and connect with the community.
