On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, San Ramon neighborhoods are invited to join more than 17,000 communities across the U.S., Canada, and military bases worldwide for the 42nd Annual National Night Out, “America’s Night Out Against Crime.”
This event is sponsored nationally by the National Association of Town Watch and locally by the San Ramon Police Department and Neighborhood Watch groups to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
From 5:30–9 p.m., residents are encouraged to lock their doors, turn on exterior lights, and gather outside with neighbors and local law enforcement. Many Neighborhood Watch groups will host events such as block parties, potlucks, and ice cream socials.
Police and other City representatives will visit registered neighborhoods throughout the evening to support and connect with the community.
