Education

San Ramon is home is a nationally recognized public school system, San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD), and several highly rated private schools. The SRVUSD high schools consistently rank in the top 5 to 10% statewide on multiple performance measures such as the Academic Performance Index (API), SAT Test for college-bound seniors, AP exam for college bound seniors and the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE).

Graduation rates far exceed state and national averages consistently year after year.  A number of higher education institutions have primary or satellite facilities in and around San Ramon, including Diablo Valley College, University of California – Davis, St. Mary’s College, and University of San Francisco.
