2026 memorial program

Memorial Program

Monday, May 25, 2026 starting at 9:00 am 
Memorial Park (5001 Bollinger Canyon Rd)

Join the City of San Ramon as we honor fallen service members on Memorial Day 2026 at Memorial Park.  The Memorial Program will last for approximately 1 hour.  Patriotic music will be performed by Olympia Fields Brass and vocals by San Ramon Academy of Music student Saee Ghate.

  • God Bless America” performed by Olympia Fields Brass
  • Presentation of Colors presented by San Ramon Police Department Honor Guard
  • Star Spangled Banner” performed by Saee Ghate
  • Memorial Day Greeting by Mayor Mark Armstrong, City of San Ramon

  • Remarks provided by Debbie Carbone, Blue Star Moms Chapter 101
  • "America the Beautiful" performed by Olympia Fields Brass

  • Remarks provided by Colonel Alan Kalin, Senior Vice Commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 75
  • "The Armed Forces Medley" performed by Olympia Fields Brass
  • Veteran’s Recognition & Presentation of Challenge Coins San Ramon City Council

Commemorative Field of Flags
8:30 am -4:00 pm 

The Commemorative Field of Flags provides an opportunity for community members to have a temporary flag placed in honor of a fallen service member or deceased Veteran at the Memorial Day Program.  Members of the community are invited to place a flag in the field between 8:30-10:00 am at the ceremony.  Please complete this form to have OUR staff place a flag for you.  Flags will remain in the field until 4 pm until removed. If you would like to take your flag, please do so between 3:00 and 4:00 pm.
