Fun on the Farm Activities are FREE crafts and activities that highlight farm life and the late Victorian era. These Saturday events are an opportunity to step back into history and enjoy the simple things of life.
*Special events hosted by the San Ramon Historic Foundation are fee-based programs that require registration and will be indicated as such.

Nov 2 Farmers Toolbox
In the 1800's before most things were mass produced, families handed down precious farm tools and skills like woodworking and planting to the next generation. Try your hand at some of these farm tools like a seed planter and hand drill (brace + bit). Create your own invention to be patented.
Nov 9th Leaves
You can tell Fall in the air because the leaves on the trees are beginning to change colors and will eventually fall onto the ground. Take yourself on a walking tour of the Farm and see what you can find. Then join us to create your own unique and colorful leaf to display at home.
Nov 16 Turkeys
While turkeys were found in the La Brea tar pits in Southern California, the ones you see around town were brought from Oklahoma and Texas. Enjoy creating a turkey craft.
Nov 23 Giving Thanks
Recycling and upcycling was the way of life in the early 1900s. Burlap from walnut sacks were often repurposed. Join us for making a burlap placemat for your dinner table.
Nov 30 *NEW* Holiday Happenings
In the early 1900s and for centuries before, people prepared for winter holidays weeks in advance. Join us in making some early holiday crafts for the winter such as holiday cards, candles, and ornaments.
