Summer Concerts 2025

Join friends and family for a perfect summer evening this Friday, July 18 at 6 p.m. for the San Ramon Summer Concert Series featuring the Americana / Country / Rock sounds of Bell Brothers!

Bring a blanket or a low-back lawn chair and be ready to rock the night away at the Central Park Ampitheater (12501 Alcosta Blvd)! A selection of food truck options from The Food Truck Mafia will be available; wine, beer and water will be available for purchase from the San Ramon Arts Foundation.


Official Opening: Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing at Bollinger Canyon Road
Saturday, July 19

IHT Overcrossing at Bollinger - Ribbon Cutting

The City of San Ramon, in partnership with Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA), Contra Costa County (CCC), and East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD), will host the official opening of the Iron Horse Trail Bicycle and Pedestrian Overcrossing at Bollinger Canyon Road on Saturday, July 19.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. in the City Hall rotunda (7000 Bollinger Canyon Road), with remarks from elected officials and partner agencies, followed by a ribbon cutting at the north entrance to the bridge at 10 a.m. Following the ribbon cutting, the bridge will officially open to the community.

All portions of the event are free, and the public is encouraged to attend. The event will include a group photo opportunity on the bridge, along with commemorative giveaways to celebrate the official opening.

Unclaimed Property

City Hall

The City of San Ramon declares that monetary sums totaling $17,734.41 held by the City in the General Fund have remained unclaimed for a period over 3 years and will become the property of the City of San Ramon on August 23, 2025, a date not less than forty-five (45) days nor more than sixty (60) days after the first publication of this notice, in accordance with California Government Code Section 50050-50057.

To see if we are holding property that belongs to you, please click on the Unclaimed Property List, then proceed with theClaim Filing Instructions and submit a Claim Form along with a W-9.

Teen Pool Party 2025

Middle school students are invited to the Middle School Pool Party at the San Ramon Olympic Pool (9900 Broadmoor Drive, San Ramon CA 94583) on Wednesday, July 30 from 7 to 9 p.m.

It's one last dive to meet or hang out with their friends before school starts! Students will have access to the play structure, splash-and-dash, and diving boards. Attendees will also have the opportunity to play games to win prizes at the event. This event is for those entering 6th, 7th and 8th grade.

Applications Open: Planning Academy - Fall 2025

Planning Academy 2025

San Ramon's Community Development Department will host the 8thsession of San RamonCommunity Planning Academyin the fall of 2025. The goal of the Academy is to educate and engage residents in the City’s planning process. The Academy will provide an overview of why cities plan, how planning shapes our community, and the land use planning process.

The classes are anticipated to be held onfour consecutive Mondays beginning September 8. Each class begins at6:30 p.m.and ends at9 p.m., and will be held at City Hall (7000 Bollinger Canyon Road, San Ramon CA 94583). Following completion of the course, there will be a formal recognition of class participants at a City Council meeting.

The class isfree, but space is limited to 20 residents, over 18 years of age.

National Night Out: August 5, 2025
Request a Visit from PD or Fire Today!

National Night Out 2025

On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, San Ramon neighborhoods are invited to join more than 17,000 communities across the U.S., Canada, and military bases worldwide for the 42nd Annual National Night Out, “America’s Night Out Against Crime.” This event is sponsored nationally by the National Association of Town Watch and locally by the San Ramon Police Department and Neighborhood Watch groups to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

From 5:30–9 p.m., residents are encouraged to lock their doors, turn on exterior lights, and gather outside with neighbors and local law enforcement. Many Neighborhood Watch groups will host events such as block parties, potlucks, and ice cream socials. Police and other City representatives will visit registered neighborhoods throughout the evening to support and connect with the community.

Fall 2025 Swim Lessons

Resident registration for Fall Swim Lessons is now open! Fall sessions run from Monday, August 11 through Sunday, September 28 at the San Ramon Olympic Pool (9900 Broadmoor Dr, San Ramon CA 94583).

Learn to swim in a safe, fun environment with outdoor heated pools.

Parent-Tot classes for 6 months+, small group and private lessons, and adult lessons are all taught by the awesome ElitSwim staff.

San Ramon Police Department Community Academy - Fall 2025

SRPD Community Academy

Join the San Ramon Police Department for the Fall 2025 Community Academy!

This free, 14-session program is designed to build stronger connections between the Department and the community. Taught by officers and Department staff, the course combines lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on activities covering topics such as patrol, investigations, traffic stops, DUI enforcement, and legal authority. Participants will take field trips to the Marsh Creek shooting range, a high-speed driving course, and the Martinez Detention Facility.

Open to adults 18 and older who live or work in San Ramon, the Academy runs from August 20 to November 12, 2025. Classes are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, with two Saturday sessions on September 20th and October 18th. Space is limited, and all applicants must pass a background check.
