Ways to file a NON-EMERGENCY Police Report:

  1. Use the self-service online reporting system. See guidelines below.

  2. Call non-emergency dispatch at (925) 973-2779 and a dispatcher will put you in contact with an police officer that can assist you. (This line is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.)

  3. Go to the San Ramon Police Department at 2401 Crow Canyon Rd and request to speak to an officer during business hours Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Online reporting allows citizens to report a non-life-threatening crime. Depending on the nature of what’s being reported, officers can follow up with a phone call to obtain additional information or details for clarification. The following reports can be made online:

  • Theft (Loss is less than $1,000)
  •   Lost Property
  •  Vandalism

To ensure the San Ramon Police Department provides the highest quality of service to our community, we request you contact our non-emergency number (925) 973-2779 if:

  • Outside a physical description, if you have information regarding the individual(s) responsible.
  • Evidence: such as video surveillance.
  • The theft is more than $1,000.
